Commercial and industrial dust collectors

A dust collector achieves high levels of efficiency thanks to a reverse air return, energy savings and compliance with the most stringent emission standards. Aspectair dust collectors have been developed through many years of experience and research. They are designed and manufactured to the highest industry standards.

We offer a complete range of mechanical and forced-air dust collection equipment, both simple and highly efficient, to meet the specific needs of your transformation process. Their advanced design ensures you get the best performance in terms of production efficiency.

For every application, there is an Aspectair dust collector to get the job done.

The selection criteria for a dust collector include:

  • Product to filter:
    • Concentration
    • Grain size
  • Abrasion
  • Corrosive agents
  • Gas temperature and humidity
  • Air volume

SP-700 or modular APP-600 dust collectors

SP-700 or modular APP-600 dust collectors

The SP-700 or APP-600 dust collectors are designed to operate under negative or positive pressure. Dusty and particulate-laden air enters the dust collector directly into the hopper or on a vertical wall equipped with an impact baffle plate. The heavy particulates are gravity-fed into the lower hopper and recovered by a pneumatic or mechanical recovery system. The finest dust is collected through filter elements. The clean air is then returned to the facility or directly outdoors.

A pre-programmed, pulsed air cleaning system continuously cleans the filter elements.

The SP-700 or APP-600 dust collectors rely on the speed at which the treated particulates travel upwards in order to minimize the dust loading rate on the filter elements as much as possible during operation.

Our dust collectors are particularly effective for abrasive particulates and dust.

Application

Filtration of all types of particulates, both wet and dry, in low or high concentrations, and abrasive dusts.

Advantages

  • Air recirculation
  • Energy conservation, heat recovery and air conditioning
  • Continuous automatic cleaning by compressed air of the filter bags
  • Effective for negative or positive pressure
  • Maintenance of the cleaning system and filter bags is performed from the upper section, on the clean air side, in order to reduce maintenance costs and ensure the safety of maintenance personnel.

Construction

The SP-700 and APP-600 standard dust collectors are made from 11 gauge mild steel. Structural bracing provides the necessary support for the pressure or vacuum required by a wide range of fans. For pressures or vacuums of 500 mm water, a 3/16 inch thick steel structure is available.

The dust collector is delivered to your facility in sections and assembled on site with nuts, bolts and caulking.

ACP-800 cartridge dust collector

ACP-800 cartridge dust collector

Self-cleaning filter cartridge dust collector

The ACP-800 can operate under negative or positive pressure. Dusty and particulate laden air enters the dust collector hopper through one or more air inlets. Gravity projects the heavier particulates into the lower part of the hopper where they are continuously collected by a pneumatic, mechanical or storage system. The finer dust is captured upward in the filtering section with vertically installed filter cartridges. The clean air is returned to the facility or to the atmosphere.

The ACP-800's cartridge upkeep ensures a perfect seal and simple and efficient maintenance.

The design of the ACP-800 is based on the speed at which the treated particulates rise in order to reduce to a minimum the dust load rate on the cartridges during their operation.

Application

Filtration of all types of dry particulates at low concentrations or for welding smoke extraction.

Advantages

  • Air recirculation
  • Energy conservation, heat recovery and air conditioning
  • Minimal space requirement
  • Automatic cleaning of filter cartridges by continuous compressed air
  • Minimum maintenance cost
  • Easy and quick replacement of filter cartridges
  • Operating capability under negative or positive pressure

Construction

CARTFILTER dust collectors are manufactured with 11 gauge mild steel. Structural bracing provides the necessary support to withstand a 400 mm WC negative or positive pressure condition. For pressures or vacuums of 500 mm water, a 3/16 inch thick steel structure is available.

The dust collector is delivered to your facility in sections (hopper and filter sections) welded and assembled on site with nuts, bolts and caulking.

Available filtering cartridges

  • Cellulose paper
  • Polyester fibres
  • 80-20 cellulose-polyester
  • High-temperature material

Ventilation for dust collectors

Our engineering and manufacturing team is composed of specialists who are at your service to build the most complex ventilation duct networks for your dust collectors. We also specialize in the design and installation of hood systems to capture dust at the source. This process improves the quality of the ambient air in your facilities, without hindering access to your machinery and without increasing maintenance time.

Commercial and industrial cyclonic separators

Commercial and industrial cyclonic separators

Commercial and industrial cyclonic separators

Whenever procedures allow, using cyclonic and multi-cyclonic separators is the optimal choice for reducing costs related to the operation and upkeep of dust collection equipment.

The cyclonic and multi- cyclonic separators use centrifugal action as the basis of operation. The particulate-laden air enters the cyclonic separator through a tangent intake. The centrifugal action projects the particulates against the cylinder wall, thereby causing a descending spin motion that forces the particulates out. As for the air, it is evacuated to the central chimney created by the difference in internal pressure of the cyclonic separator.

The multi-cyclonic separator is made up of several cyclones from our HE series, which allows the treatment of a high volume of air.

Aspectair has developed a whole range of remarkably efficient cyclonic and multi- cyclonic separators. This expertise has been acquired through research and development, as well as our numerous accomplishments.
